About ObjectRemover
Last updated: 2026-07-28
ObjectRemover is a browser-based tool for removing unwanted people, text, logos, and other visible objects from video. It is designed for footage you own or are authorized to edit.
What we do
ObjectRemover turns a short written instruction into a video-cleanup workflow. You upload an MP4 or MOV clip, describe one target in a specific English prompt, and review the processed result before downloading it.
The service is intended to make common cleanup work more accessible when rebuilding a full editing timeline would be unnecessary. It does not promise a perfect result for every shot. Fast motion, heavy blur, long occlusion, camera movement, reflections, shadows, and detailed backgrounds can make reconstruction more difficult.
How the technology works
Video object removal is a form of video inpainting. After a target is identified across consecutive frames, the covered area is reconstructed from visible context, surrounding texture, and information from nearby frames. Maintaining temporal consistency is important because a plausible still frame can still flicker or drift during playback.
Our explanation of the field is informed by peer-reviewed research, including:
- Towards an End-to-End Framework for Flow-Guided Video Inpainting, CVPR 2022.
- ProPainter: Improving Propagation and Transformer for Video Inpainting, ICCV 2023.
These publications explain general video-inpainting methods. They do not imply that ObjectRemover uses either published implementation.
Privacy and file retention
Uploads use private storage and controlled access. Source files are deleted 24 hours after a job ends. Processed results are retained for 7, 30, 60, or 90 days according to the selected plan.
For complete details, review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Responsible use
ObjectRemover may be used for personal footage, client-authorized work, internal production assets, and other media you have permission to edit. It must not be used to remove third-party copyright marks, evade rights controls, misrepresent evidence, or edit media unlawfully.
The Acceptable Use Policy explains these restrictions in more detail.
Editorial responsibility
Product information, guides, limits, and retention details are maintained by ObjectRemover. We identify practical limitations, distinguish general technical research from product-specific behavior, and update published information when the service changes.
